Hi, I have borrowed a DDRC22A to try in my system (hopefully to buy if I like )

The person I borrowed it from has reset both his Dirac and MiniDSP passwords. The MiniDSP password seems to be fine for registering and activating the unit via the DDRC-22 utility.
Trouble is when I input the user name and password in the Dirac Live Calibration tool, I keep getting an "incorrect password " error

Can anyone assist ?

The "username" in DLCT is an email address. The manual goes into the process in excruciating detail, I'd suggest first working through that

So we understand, you're using a unit that was already activated (i.e. Dirac License activated) and you're creating a brand new account to again activate it again?
That's most likely the reason why it's not working. you can't activate 2 times a unit.

If you're using a unit from a friend, just ask his own user name (an email address) + password that he used the first time he configured Dirac as per the user manual. Then just use that to install the software.

I am using my friend's details (rather than creating a new account for me).
But you mention that he should use the password that he used the *first time* he configured Dirac... he didn't remember the password he used the first time, so I think he reset it. I am using the new password... is this maybe the problem ?
