Hello,
I want to move Dirac software to another computer, I read that step one is to "uninstall the device" at the first computer but can't figure out exactly how. Can you help? It's Win7 on both computers.

Thank you,
Dubravko

OK, luckily I found it in another topic and it works as described below. Support FAQ says "uninstall the device" which I could not find how, but it is actually "uninstall the software".

"- Dirac Live can only be installed on ONE computer. If it's installed on more, here is the step to follow:
A) Connect a USB cable between your PC and the DDRC unit. You must be connected.
B) Make sure that your PC has a live internet connection (required to reset the Dirac server)
C) Uninstall the software, it will clear the license on the Dirac server so you can install it on another PC.
If you don't do the above step, you will run into a "max limit of install reached" error message. We need to "release" the license manually at that point by opening a tech support ticket with us from minidsp.desk.com.

- During an update, you shouldn't have to do anything and the software will automatically update itself. In this last update, to be safe we asked to uninstall the previous version and that may have caused the problem.W

@ Dubravko ,

Oh good news you've figured it out! :-) We've updated the wording to say uninstall software.
