Hello devteam,

i changed the connection between my DDRC-22D and the external DAC from Spdif/Coax to AES/EBU, but when i set the output to AES/EBU there is no sound. For tests i tried the other outputs - and surprise, when SPDIF is set - sound is on?! (i definitely disconnect the SPDIF/COAX cable, only the AES cable between the 22D and my external DAC is present!)
I suggest this is an Firmware bug (don't belive this is a hardware layout issue - i hope). Can you check this? (actual DDRC-22 utility V1.1 is used, refresh DSP Program also done, actual Firmware 2.014)

regards Franz

Franz,

Mmh, this is odd since as we've heard so far with all our customers, this is the first time...
There seems to be a confusion on the statement you're making "when i set the output to AES/EBU". There isn't such thing as "setting the output".
You can only set the "INPUT". All outputs are always enabled. (SPDIF/TOSLINK/AES-EBU)at all times. What you are most likely doing here is changing the input source which you don't have an AES-EBU source/CD player hence the no audio.

If you still have some issues, please start a tech support ticket so our customer service team can follow up: minidsp.desk.com

Thanks.
