Hello,
I'm interested in the DDRC-22D which looks like a terrific device!
But I'd like to use it directly with my i2s DAC.

Is it possible to use i2s output with this device?
Is it as easy as removing the "to spdif" jumper on the miniSHARC board?

And on the input side, could I use an usb=>i2s card on this?
By removing the "from spdif" jumper?
Is the input resampled to 96 kHz on the miniSHARC or must be resampled before that?

And finaly, if I want to use spdif AND i2s inputs, can the "from spdif" jumper be replaced by a switch and operate "on the fly"?

A lot of questions, I know...

I guess one could do but unfortunately out of our support since it is outside our licensing terms with Dirac. (Must be boxed product) one could indeed diy i guess, reading the user manual of minisharc but note that you will need src and that this configuration is NOT using the spdif in.

Yes I suspected that there would be no official support for this...
So you said that src is needed outside the miniSHARC?
So the master/slave i2s behavior described in the miniSHARC manual doesn't apply with Dirac firmware?

By the way, I read too quickly the DIGI-FP connectivity pdf, there is no "spdif" jumpers on miniSHARC board, it was on miniDSP 2x8/8x8.

That's correct. Master/slave I2S doesn't apply to the miniSHARC running Dirac neither does all other details like SPDIF in.
As said above, outside our support structure as we're actually not allowed to sell miniSHARC running Dirac outside OEM contracts.
