Loving my 8x12DL, but there are some things I think could make it better:

1. Increase the number of presets available. I recognize the original remote is hardware limited by the number of physical buttons to 4 presets, but the OLED seems like it could easily be programmed to at least do 9, based upon a single digit display. It would be great to save a preset for the passenger side (to give a front seat passenger the sweet spot) and a full car preset for when all 4 seats are occupied. This eats up half the available presets, which is very limiting when trying out new drivers, testing crossovers, etc. There are entry-level DSPs that have far more flexibility in this regard than the high-end 8x12. I recognize that this would also require altering the plug-in software, but that doesn't seem like a monumental change to make.

2. Android/IOS app to be able to at least make basic changes without having to keep a laptop in the car at all times. Another feature that cheap DSPs commonly have.

3. Bluetooth dongle to allow music streaming directly to the DSP. This method is becoming much more common - I already had one person who said they would spring for the DL if it had this feature, which can also be found on cheaper devices.

4. There are two tabs for outputs: 1-6 and 7-12. I have a 3-way front stage, plus one subwoofer. It would be great to be able to alter which outputs went on a tab. I can work on the front stage easily, but to alter the sub output, I need to click the other tab - having all 7 on the same screen would be nice. Minor quibble, I admit.

Anyone else have any thoughts on possible improvements?

I support the opinions above, only 4 presets are too few compared with similar products, and there is a lack of labels to record configuration changes.
Also, I found that the presets of different SLOTs are restored with the same configuration, and they sound completely different. I don't know if other users have encountered this problem.
In addition, is it possible to add a mirror mode, that is, the left and right sound fields are reversed?
Maybe I'm asking too much.

There a few BT to spdif boxes available that are easily adapted to 12v , 

im a professional installer and use them and they work fantastic 

and yeah more presets are nice, but android control would also let you load more on the fly and keep configs in your phase so that I’m with you on 

but iOS would be cool also ….. the framework isn’t there I don’t think tho …..
