Quick question for all you gurus out there....
I currently have C-DSP 8x12 DL with I Dirac in the car I just purchased addon for center/rear channel module 

How do I get this going and configure it in the matrix properly? Has anyone done it before?

I have 3way up front with subwoofer in the rear, 

Has anyone tried this before?

No specific plugin to purchase for the center. SImply use the matrixing inside the 8x12DL plugin. Check out the manual for more details, we explain how to configure it.

@devteam - I am wondering this too. There is no explanation in the manual for how to output a center mix for the 8x12 or the Harmony.

Can you also program DSP to remove center information from L and R outputs? For a true center.

thank you for the reply but there is nothing in the minidsp cdsp 8x12dl manual that deals with the center channel. Can you please elaborate or post a way to accomplish this without having to make random guesses.  Thanks.

The center channel is obtained by mixing the left and right channels,usually.
Under the Mixer Tag, do the following……

I am using a helix v12 downstream from the 8x12. The virtual channels make for a great sounding 2 seat tune with a center channel. I use channels 1 and 2 for mids&highs, channel 3 and 4 for the center channel, channel 5&6 for midbass, channel 7 for rear-fill and channel 8 for Subs. I put the mic right in the middle for the first measurement position and then I go back between the driver and passenger seats for all the rest of the measurements. It works awesome. If anybody has discovered a better way to do it with  helix virtual channels please let me know. You have to subtract 20% of the center from the right and left channels also. Helix hit a home run with the center channel upmixer and virtual channels but they dropped the ball not using dirac. So I bought the minidsp to see if Dirac would work upstream from the helix amplifier. So far so good. It sounds much better with Dirac, but without the helix virtual channels, I wouldn't be able to pull off a perfect great sounding 2 seat tune.
