Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade my CDSP 8x12v2 to the Dirac Live version and am having trouble.  I'm loading the firmware to the root of a blank fat32 64gb sd card and the unit is not recognizing the card.  Does the sd card have to be a certain size or format for the unit to recognize it?

If you are trying to upgrade your C-DSP 8x12v2 to the DL version, please use a computer to perform the firmware upgrade so you can generate the activation code

Step by step activation of your CDSP 8x12 unit

1. On purchase of this upgrade, software will become available under your user downloads section. Download the ZIP file under the  CDSP section
2. Upgrade the firmware of your CDSP firmware to the CDSP 8x12DL firmware as per steps of the user manual. 
3. Start the CDSP 8x12DL plugin. Click the Connect button in the top right. 
4. The following screen will appear on booting:
   
   
5. Click the button "Copy Activation Code to Clipboard"
6. Send an  email message  with the Subject line “8x12DL Activation Request.” In the body of the email message, paste the activation code you just copied.
7. You will receive an automated key file (.txt file) within 48-72h during working days (Mon-Fri)
8. Click the “Import” button and select the received activation key file to import into the plugin.
9. The Connect button will change to show that you are connected to the CDSP 8x12DL.

I have purchased the upgrade, the problem I am having is upgrading the firmware on the CDSP unit, it does not recognize my 64gb sd card.  Do I need to use a certain type, size or format of sd card to upgrade the firmware on the cdsp 8x12v2 unit?

Is the stock microSD card not available? If you are trying to use another microSD card, please use FAT as the card format.
