How does the Wi-DG power and connect to the CDSP8x12 v2? Do I need a mini usb to type B usb2.0 cable? Neither the CDSP8x12v2 or Wi-DG came with the correct cable to connect to one another? Just received my order and confused..

I believe it requires USB C stand alone power,
the dsp cannot power the wifi and allow control

I don't recommend installing the Wi-Fi module with the CDSP. We installed mine and had to remove it because it caused major noise problems in the system. The USB ports of the miniDSP are very sensitive to ground loops and anything plugged in to the USB port that has its own power supply causes noise.

I can't even tune my CDSP with my laptop connected to wall power or else I get ground loops. Disconnect the laptop power cable, noise goes away.
