I am doing an integration in my 2017 Chrysler 200 8.4 non premium system

I initially used a scosche loc for a sub install just to hold me over, as I’m planning an expensive build and it’ll take time

Anyhow, one day the loc stops putting out sound. Initially wasn’t sure if it was my amp or the loc, but I determined it was the loc

So 2 questions; 1, do I need an accessory in for the cdsp with high level inputs? (Can I cut this stupid loc out?) I know I can just run a wire front to back but I’ve been limited on time and wiring in the dsp was difficult enough. I’m only using rear speakers with jumpers to cover all 4 high level inputs for now, until I get a custom harness to give me rca outs straight from my uconnect.

2nd question; how do I set the dsp to optimal settings for high level input? Initially, it made very little noise. Messing with my output levels on the minidsp software made up for it a little, but still it didn’t sound nearly as loud as it should. (My setup is a Fi btl ufo 15 on 3.5k with a 15ah lithium/370a alternator/proper wiring)
So I messed with the input settings and raised the level up slowly, testing on a 34hz sine wave. At first it had absolutely no effect, then got insanely loud to the point where I had to mute it or it would’ve probably blown. After turning the sine wave off I realize this is my noise floor and likely alternator whine which is weird because it was loud before and had no such issues. I think this may be related to the loc still being hooked up though. Any help is much appreciated!
