miniDSP Device Console (DC) Software ChangeLog

The following Software ChangeLog summarizes the changes made to the miniDSP Device Console (DC). As a reminder, please note that XMOS and DSP firmware are now packaged together inside the miniDSP DC and that you may be requested to upgrade your firmware in order to use the latest version of miniDC. With the Over The Air (OTA) updates, miniDSP DC will automatically trigger a prompt for upgrade to fix  some specific bugs or add new features for any of the supported platforms. Please read the following ChangeLOG for more details.

  • Flex8: New XMOS firmware v1.52 /  Removing automute feature and restore to default noise. 
  • Flex8: Improvement on Dirac Live activation key
  • MacOS: 'About' menu now loads the corresponding About Page on DC. Added 'Preferences...' menu which load the Settings Page on DC

NOTE: SHD/DDRC24/2x4HD/Flex series are in template/Offline support ONLY. i.e. you will not be able to connect/control any of these platforms yet. We plan to release support in the comming weeks once the software QC is finalized for these platforms.

  • Bug Fix: deny a valid Dirac Activation Key because of a bug in checking the soundness of the given activation-key
  • Updated the application menu for MacOS: both the About and Preferences menu item will now open the About and Settings page at the program accordingly.
