nanoDIGI 2x8 BnanoDIGI 2x8 all digital DSP with SPDIF/Toslink input and SPDIF outputs for up to 8 x Output channels.
The nanoDIGI 2x8-B is a palm size all digital processor boxed in a grey anodized aluminum enclosure. Featuring the well known flexibility of the miniDSP brand, the nanoDIGI makes affordable high end digital processing by using existing 3rd party high end DAC units. On the input side, either SPDIF or Toslink (Optical) input are available and selectable from the software or IR learning interface. The internal sample rate converter will take care of adapting your digital input signal to the core operating sample rate frequency (44.1kHz to 192kHz). Finally, the four transformer isolated SPIF outputs allows up to 8 processed audio channels to be sent to your own DAC or SPDIF powered amplifiers.
On the processing side, the nanoDIGI makes full use of its DSP to provide a wide range of processing blocks for most common applications. As per the miniDSP concept, its is the plug-in which defines the ability of the platform and therefore its sampling rate. From 96kHz to 192kHz configuration, the nanoDIGI is a unique affordable, flexible and palm size processor.

Application notes on nanoDIGI 2x8 Box
Siegfried Linkwitz is a well known reference in the Audio industry. His work range from filtering to speaker building and has been referenced/used by many designers worldwide for the past few years. The Linkwitz Lab website is a goldmine of information on advanced filtering, speaker building and even basic concepts of acoustic and speaker design. A reference website for any audio designer!
Digital crossovers are one of the key core strengths of the miniDSP range of products. In this app note, we'll provide an overview of digital crossovers and how they differ from passive crossovers and other types of active crossover. With a high degree of flexibility, user-friendly interfaces, and unbeatable value, miniDSP digital crossovers offer the perfect solution for both the DIYer and the loudspeaker/system professional.
This application note will show you how to build a stereo three-way or four-way digital crossover. If you are new to the concept of multi-way DSP loudspeakers, please read the overview app note Digital Crossovers Basics first.
A cool product - does exactly what i wanted for a 4 way speaker project. I Liked the recent mods to fine adjust gain settings. Has saved me hours of trial and error tuning in a design that was so slow to adjust using analogue filter trial and error. Thank you!Keith Batey
