miniDSP Flex HT
miniDSP Flex HT, 400MHz Sharc DSP audio processor, toolbox for subwoofer or multiway speaker tuning, USB/HDMI ARC/EARC, Optional WISA, Optional Multichannel Dirac Live license for room correction,
The Flex HT is miniDSP’s answer to our customers looking for a pocket sized multichannel processor with HDMI ARC/eARC capabilities . Our team was able to cram a full eight channels of DSP power and a wide range of I/O into the unbelievably compact enclosure.
Eight-channel audio input is via eARC linear PCM over HDMI, or USB Audio. Additional stereo input is supported over SPDIF and TOSLINK optical. Internally, we’ve provided a full suite of miniDSP flexible’s routing and audio processing features: bass management, parametric EQ, crossovers, advanced biquad programming and delay/gain adjustments. In addition, the miniDSP Flex HT is software-upgradable with full-frequency Dirac Live®, the world’s premiere room correction system.
The eight-channel analog RCA outputs feature class-leading low noise and distortion figures. Last but not least, the Flex HT is miniDSP's first product to include WiSA (“Wireless Speaker and Audio Association”) capability as an optional feature(future). WiSA is designed specifically for low-latency multichannel audio – a perfect match for the Flex HT. The WiSA transmitter will allow lossless transmit of all eight output channels to WiSA-compatible speakers and subwoofers. Note that WISA feature will be a hardware option on future shipments (ETA Q1 2024) and isn't included at this point of time.
The miniDSP Flex HT is the perfect solution for a modern compact processor for home theater and multichannel sound. You just need to let your creativity do the rest!
REMINDER: Please note that the Flex HT does not support bitstream (e.g. Dolby/DTS) decoding. The audio source must be able to output linear PCM (LPCM) for multichannel support over HDMI.
STOCK UPDATE(04/12/2023): Shipments already started this week with tracking number in chronological order. Have fun!

Application notes on the miniDSP Flex HT platform
In this application, we go step by step on how to use Flex HT with HDFury Arcana and Vrroom product. Stay tuned for more updates.
In this application note, we will show you how to design an active 2-way loudspeaker with the miniDSP 2x4 HD/Flex. Using the 2x4 HD/Flex, you can either create a conventional (Linkwitz-Riley or Butterworth) crossover, or a linear phase crossover.
In this application note, we will show you how to integrate a subwoofer with your existing loudspeakers by using a miniDSP 2x4 HD/Flex. You can use an existing preamp, or replace a preamp and a DAC with the miniDSP 2x4 HD/Flex. (In the latter case, you will need to program a remote control to adjust volume in the miniDSP 2x4 HD.)
In this app note, we will demonstrate subwoofer integration for miniDSP's stereo Dirac Live processors using only the Dirac Live app for measurement
In this application note, we show you how to use Room EQ Wizard (REW) and its integration with miniDSP to equalize your subwoofer.
