nanoAVR HD to HDA upgrade kitUpgrade kit for existing nanoAVR HD v1.1 customers looking to upgrade to nanoAVR HDA
This product page is for the nanoAVR HD to HDA kit upgrade for existing nanoAVR HD customers looking to upgrade for analog outputs. If you are looking for the finished nanoAVR HDA, check here for more info.
The kit includes all the cables, boards and enclosure for an infield upgrade of your nanoAVR HD board. Note that a philips screwdriver will be required to remove the HDMI main board of your existing nanoAVR HDA and move it over to the new enclosure. Firmware upgrade to the latest version will be required to support the nanoAVR HDA. If you have any questions for the assembly, feel free to ask!
WARNING: This upgrade is unfortunately only plug&play for customers of the nanoAVR HD v1.1 due to the need for the 5VDC connector that was only populated from v1.1 and onward. You can easily check your revision number by opening the nanoAVR top cover.
If you have v1.0, it's indeed possible to upgrade but you will need to flywire +5V from the DC connector (i.e. basic soldering skills required). Please contact us if that's the case, we'd be happy to help.
