Hi! I plan to use a USBStreamer to connect an iPad in ADAT to a Behringer UMC1820 audio interface, which will itself be connected to an Akai Force (which apparently works well with this interface). It will be a 9th generation iPad with lightning output and a USB adapter + power supply (Camera Connection Kit). I am new to iPad and USBStreamer.
My problem is to get a Midi input / output from the iPad. I guess the Midi can’t go through the USBStreamer to the UMC 1820... but is there a wired solution?
Is it possible with the following configuration:
  • iPad -> CCK -> USB hub and the USB hub connected to both:
    • the USBStreamer for Adat audio to the Behringer UMC1820 and
    • a USB input of the Force (which works as midi over USB) - or to a a USB / Midi adapter?
If not, can I input and output Midi wirelessly in blutooth or wifi with no latency while using the 8 audio inputs/outputs of the iPad on the USB with the USBStreamer?
Thanks for your feedback!
