Hi, I finally got round to testing the USBStreamer kit. I believe its supposed to be shipped with toslink enabled?
Its recognised by my tablet and my windows10 laptop.
The LED light is on and there is a steady red light eminating from the tosling cable.
I plugged this into my miniDSP 2x4HD.
I changed the input source on the 2x4hD to toslink
I cant get no sound out of it ???

I switched input back to USB on the 2x4HD and sound works fine
Switch back to Toslink -  nothing

How do I check the streamer is set up for toslink ?
Ihave downloaded the firmware for the USBStreamer not any other products as it clearly says in bold red writing bla, bla, bla.
Anyway I used the firmware supplied for the USBstreamer kit and it was successful, but no change.
Im sitting here now with the thing pluhhed into the laptop(with a bright LED glowing) , any idea how to test it ?

I know enough not to break things. Hence Im here and reading through the documents.
Please correct me if Im wrong.

Im trying to swerve all the really really technical stuff for the moment.
A quick setup guide would be really handy for noobies like myself but now have to read the whole sodding document to find out whats wrong.
(its no wonder admin get so much grief - we need dummy instructions!!!!)
