I've had success with an 8 channel preamp Audient ASP880 (ADAT out) -> USBstreamer B -> iPad Pro (via USB3 lightning adaptor).
In a few tests I have found that 8 channel recording is Ok for the most part.

But (a big But!) I see some signs of clocking issues with occasional signal dropouts. I understand the USBStreamer B's firmware defaults to internal clock and it is configurable via a PC or Mac control panel to accept an input (ADAT) clock as an alternative. That's probably what I want to do here, but the iPad has no such capability to alter the defaults.

Would there be a way to accomplish this with a modification to different firmware options? Or am I mistaken and the clock source is correctly negotiated by the system?

Thanks
Jon
(apologies I also submitted this question on another thread but wasn't sure it would have much visibility there)
