TOPIC: USBStreamer and 10x10 Hd?

USBStreamer and 10x10 Hd? 3 years 10 months ago #29437

This question might already have been answered, but as I can not find the answer I need to ask:

To get USB input on my 10x10 Hd, can I connect a USBStreamer via I2S to it? :cheer:

Or do I need to use the Toslink? :(

I'm pretty sure both of these units operate as I2S Clock Master (i.e. cannot be connected via I2S), so, yeah, Toslink.

Jim is correct. Toslink would be the way and no worries, it's not like I2S is going to be any better. It's very much the same as Toslink. I2S is only meant for board to board (very short cables + need careful loading of the lines else it does become much worse than TOSLINK.. :-)
