I am trying to use the UMA-8-SP as a plug & play conferencing unit with Mac computers. As a UAC2.0 unit the UMA does plug & play with MacOS, but due to the protocol the Mac output volume gets set to maximum and disabled, supposedly giving volume control to the unit. The UMA does not have an external volume control though so the output volume is just set to maximum with no way to adjust it. Is there a way to retain output controls inside of the Mac and maintain the plug & play ability of the UMA?
