Dear MiniDSP,

I would like to retrieve the DOA-information of the UMA-8 v2 via USB. However the current driver does not offer an appropriate USB endpoint. Now I would like to know if you could give a very approximate date/month to when the new firmware is going to release (in the description it was stated that there is going to be an update in order to set and retrieve parameters with the GUI for v2) or if there is a chance to recieve an alpha/beta version of it a little earlier.

We've been working on this for a while now.. A major undertaking knowing the XMOS firmware was already at 90%. So fitting our whole protocol isn't exactly a 2min job I'm afraid... :-( We've literally been working full time at this mess...

The good news is that we're getting very close now.. :-) We can't provide a timeline I'm afraid but stay tuned.

thanks for your reply. I believe you that this is not a 2 minute job ;-). Though I am happy to hear that there is going to be a release at some point! So thanks and I will definitely stay tuned!

Guys, it is not funny. It's over one year that i could see on your website "We will work in the coming weeks to bring similar control GUI interface for the XVF3000. Stay tuned!".
What do you mean by "in the coming weeks" ?
I feel like beeing cheated. Many other people too. And definatelly lost, because of lack of information.
When would you finish it?
