My UMIK-1 is defective

I get distortion peaks at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5kHz at -50-60 dBFS level


I tested it with different cables, ports and computers. Ditto. However I believe that my measurements are ok and I must go on with my speaker project www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/231353...aker-project-21.html

The problems is in the signal processor that is built-in? The level of peaks remains constant regardless of level of "real" noise/sound.

We indeed received your email on Friday night. Your (serial# 700481) is part of the batch that had a board with a noise in the batch back in Feb 2013. Our team already replied to your email.
