I just set up a new Umik-2, including updating the firmware.  Everything went fine and it is recognized by DIRAC but the user manual instructions for Windows were confusing.  One page shows a Windows control panel setting of 96kHz / 24 bit.  Further along in the user manual, it shows these same settings as 48kHz / 24 bit.  Which is correct ?  I would be using Dirac, not REW.  Is it 96 kHz for Dirac but only 48 kHz for REW due to a limitation with REW ?

I think I found a partial answer after going over the user manual again. Under the REW section, it suggests 48 kHz should be more than adequate for speaker and acoustic measurement given the Umik calibration (and our hearing) only goes up to 20 kHz.   However, the preceding paragraph still makes me question if I should set the sample rate and bit depth based on some setting or capability in Dirac or even based on the capability of my DDRC-22D which is 96 kHz / 32 bit ?
