What is the usable frequency response of the new UMIK-2 mic?

I think you mean frequency range?

Like you I can't see good answer to that from the published info. It would be interesting to know what frequency range the calibration would be provided for. As frequency increases the microphone will become increasingly directional and so making it less useful for indirect sound.

Contacting support directly will probably get you an answer fastest. I'll be interested in what you are told if you do.

What I'd really like to see is a comparison in-room noise floor measurement of a UMIK-1 Vs a UMIK-2.

Basically yes, Frequency range.

For the UMIK-1 it is published as
"Frequency response: 20 Hz - 20kHz +/-1dB with calibration loaded"

A wider range could be used for more acurate representations of minimum phase extraction for
on axis speaker measurements.
