Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum. Just purchased a PMIK for ipad, installed Studio6 Sound Tools and wanted to do some measurements.

I have already successfully transfered my calibration file into the app.

My question is without owning any SPL Meter for budget reason, is the file already calibrated my PMIK-1 in terms of SPL?
or I need those aftermarket calibrator which have selectable 94/114dB?
Or I need those SPL Meter?

Thanks for stopping by

Yours Sincerely

Kenneth

A great app note showing step by step on how to make it work.

As you can see the ipad has a limitation that we can't get the setting for gain. You can use a free app on your phone to calibrate the SPL though. :-)
