I received a umik mic with the gain factory set at o. Everything I'm reading says they were set at 12, and more recently set at 18. Is this in error? Or can I use it set at 0

Thanks

It should be 18. It is possible though that it's the software you are seeing this with. Probably the best thing to do is open a support ticket over at support.minidsp.com with a screenshot.

Something is definitely not right here. Can you please start a tech support ticket with our team? (Support.minidsp.com)

The support team has instructed me to open the bottom of the mic, however it must be one that was glued on.

@ mialapi
Ok, it sounds like they are one the case to solve this issue. If possible, let's not try to have double talks as it's a bit confusing to track both.. :-)
Thanks!
