I have a PMIK en route - took the leap not knowing fully whether it will operate on my phone rather than needing to acquire an iPad.

I need this device to analyze and balance a musical instrument rig for live shows and trade shows and will acquire an iPad if I absolutely must but I would much prefer not to have to.

Additionally; is this mic friendly to any third party analyzers/apps?

@ sfantry
The PMIK will work with any phone knowing it's using the headphone + mic jack.. No need to use an Ipad.. :-)
The app notes were done with ipad (because it's a big screen) and with android phone (audiotools). All under the app note section
