Hello

I have recently having som problems with my UMIK-1, is about a year old now.

The first problem resolved it self after a day or two. It was a high noise around 450hz

And now its something wrong with the timing. I think...
I tried to record 30 seconds of a random song, but when its done. The recording it self is only 9 seconds long, all of the recording is there, but is compressed together so it sounds like a big smurf party.

And the same happens with sweeps in REW. The sweep duration over the speaker is around 5,5 seconds, but REW is only 30% finished when the sweep ends. So the measurements gets faulty (see pictures)

I have tried to, restart the computer, all the usb ports, uninstall UMIK-1 from the system and changed the usb cable with no luck.
Any ideas? Or is my mic starting to fault?

This is indeed odd. Don't think we've seen this before. Can you please try with another software (Eg.. Win recorder) to see if the issue still happens? You could always start a tech support ticket with our team (minidsp.desk.com) to see how we can help further.

I have tried with REW, Audacity, the speech recorder in windows 10 and another computer, and the problem is still there

Best that you start a tech support ticket with our team (forum isn't the way to communicate with hardware issue). / Please use link from Support - > Contact us. Thanks.

We can check your SN# and date of purchase to take it from there. Sounds good?
