Hi,

is anyone else using windows server technical preview and the umik-1?

When i plug the mic into the usb slot it doesnt seem to recognise anything has been plugged in, nor is the umik selectable in asio4all.

any help is appreciated.

Not 100% sure but it sounds similar to an inquiry that we got asked before purchasing the product (i.e. does UMIK-1 work on win server), and unfortunately we couldn't really answer since we don't have access to it to be able to test.

Did you contact Windows about this question as it's certainly an OS issue? There seems to be few similar questions/issues/driver rollout when googling USB audio + windows server. The UMIK-1 uses a standard USB audio class1 (most standard audio class driver used for ages and supported by Linux, Win, Apple, Android, Ipad..).No drivers, no rocket science required as it's plug&play typically. I think that you need to investigate with Win tech support if you already have that driver in your OS.
