Hi guys

Please forgive my ignorance, but I can't find a straight answear anywhere. I'm planning to build a Windows11 based HT PC and I'd really like to have spdif outs for all surround channels. I already know that UDIO-8 can do that, but my question is more about software support.

If I use UDIO-8, will I get proper surround signal from apps like Kodi, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and HBO Max? If the answear is no, then I guess I will be stuck with some higher end Sound Blaster AE-5.

Any experiences with using UDIO-8 like that? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hello,
I use Jriver with Udio 8.
It works fantastic.
Then I use 4 Parasound dacs for 7.1 surround.
