Is udio8 multichannel usb interface supported in linux ubuntu 18.04 ?

my plan is to use it for playing mch sacd iso in jriver 24 running in ubuntu 18.04. pc

thanks for this new interface to make it possible to replace mch hdmi and use standard aes ebu instead.

Sure, it will work fine. The UDIO8 is a standard UAC2 interface. It will get discovered by ALSA 2.0 plug&play typically.

We are using UDIO-8 in Linux but having following problems please suggest ..solution regarding issues

1. Devices is Detected by Alsa with name USB Streamer by using arecord we are unable to capture audio.
2. how we can select channel using HW device id ..like HW:0,1........etc for Multiple channel, because only available Device id is USBStreamer in which channel can not be selected..
