Dear All,

An exciting new product will lead to many questions and we're hoping to use this forum to hear your feedback.

As we keep pushing some app notes, this thread could be a good place to share questions you may have for a specific application.
The user manual already got a fair amount of detailed info so it won't be the place to add further details. Instead, we do plan to release more app notes. So far, 2 good app notes worth reading (www.minidsp.com/applications/audio-streaming)
- U-DAC8 combined with JRiver
- U-DAC8 combined with Audirvana.

FYI, our team already tested the U-DAC8 + Raspberry Pi but unfortunately, it sounds like the Pi just doesn't have the CPU grunt to drive 8channels audio real time..

From reading online, we did notice already some similar threads with stereo only.. Maybe some of you would have further experience.

Anyway, we are on the look out for similar solutions (i.e. fanless design), if you've got some suggestions do feel free to share and get in touch with us here or via our contact us page.
