Any sound engineers here using the Dirac series? I just got my DDRC-22DA and once I sorted out the UMIK-1 dropping out problem I intend to use it in my daily work. If this stereo solution works out I am planning on moving on to the surround system for my surround mixing and music composition projects

I will add to this thread all my experience. First day of using it. Compared to the ARCII correction system. Quite a different league to my ears. Dirac does a wonderful job of correcting what it has to correct without the end result sounding dull and lifeless. I will keep on testing this in my small 16m2 room and in a couple of weeks will start using in my larger, 42m2 production room. I am very excited about the new possibilities this solution provides!! :-)

What was causing your UMIK-1 to drop out?
