I just got my board running. I haven't plugged it into the system yet, but I've been busy building the speakers. It appears on first glance that the "two way" plug-in is limited to one HP and on LP. I mentioned before that the ability to apply multiple slopes and different frequencies would be extremely handy. The additional slope could apply shelving to a dipole woofer or a tweeter with a wave guide. But, here is another potential feature that would be handy.

I've already purchased subs for my dipole system. I'd like to use the miniDSP on the dipole woofers and horn loaded subwoofers. So, I need two low pass filters per channel, and no high pass. Any chance that will be an option?

Paul,

Glad to hear that you made some progress on your prototype.
Yes, the two way plug-in is as described on the datasheet audio flow diagram, a low pass on OUT1&2 and a high pass on OUT3&4.

I'm not sure that we'll release this feature very soon because your application seems quite unique and the wish list is already very very long... Right now focus is on PEQ, filter order and advanced IIR filter. The last one, advanced IIR, will give you access to all biquad settings and let you build the filter configuration you want. It won't be "plug&play" and as pretty as what you have in terms of UI, but you'll be able to build odd configuration like what you're working on.

Ultimately, we hope to one day release the 2way crossover with 2 bandpass instead of a (LP or HP only). Thing is I believe that we'll have to make concessions to have it happen (e.g. remove graphic eq and replace by PEQ). That's quite a long term though because that's a complete redesign of the plug-in UI and architecture.

Hope this information helps,
