I didn't try yet but is there anything preventing you to achieve it using the "low-shelf" filter type :dry:

Neither did I, I have still no board. There are a lot of EQ filters available so I guess you could live without it. I don't know different it would be using the shelf filter. I just saw the Youtube video. :)

It's possible to make a linkwitz transform with the different eq's in the plug-ins. It's not easy since you have to know som math. I'm not into the math, but I can at least link to the formulas.

As mentioned by Brian, I indeed think that you should be able to get something real close to it with playing with the current filters. The links provided should get you started.

the biquads in the "advanced" plug-in should enable this. (I have not worked with this one yet, so maybe the dev team could explain more)

Indeed the Biquad in Advance mode gives you everything you need to build a Linkwitz transform... We're swamped for the next few days as we're trying to release a new set of plug-ins and working on deadline, so it's not going to happen now I'm afraid...

It's not that complex to figure out the biquad coeff though... Building a spreadsheet with the formula just requires a bit of work..

at the same time we are discussing this on the Dutch forum (knuisje is also there) and we concluded that Fc should best be the average of the Fp and F0 of the LT, so I modified knuisje's spreadsheet

Great! Thanks for your participation in keeping everybody updated on the spreadsheet evolution.

In general, with miniDSP Advanced biquad programming, there is so much potential with this feature that we'd hope that others ideas will follow up by those of you experimenting with them...
