I have the DDRC-22D and I have to turn the volume back up to 0 dB every time I turn my system back on.  I use the volume control on my pre-amp as I suspect most users do and really do not need the volume control on the DDRC.  I'm hoping miniDSP will add a setting to the plug-in to either bypass the volume control (always 0 dB) or at least add an option to set a default volume.  I think this would be beneficial for other hardware as well, such as SHD Studio.  I have already submitted a support request to miniDSP.
