When Volumio boots up and is ready to use, a chime plays. In the next revision of Volumio for SHD, you should create a second startup up sound option which is designed to wake up subwoofers. It could be the same chime with strong 20hz component underneath, or you play the normal chime then a 20hz signal when the chime is finished, I don’t really care what shape it takes, but the idea is the SHD should put out bass on startup so that anyone with auto-on only subs (i.e. no 12v trigger input) get their subs woken up and ready to play music from the first instant. Anyone who doesn’t want this just doesn’t use the checkbox in the Volumio settings.
