I've never seen an EQ that you can only bypass the individual bands but not the plugin itself.

Now were i have to deal more with the EQ find it also strange ...
Or also missing option to change EQ presets on the fly (not the big load configuration what stops the music for 4-5 seconds).
All this makes very difficult to evaluate small changes.

If a change is so small that you can't tell the difference because of just the 4-5 seconds pauses, then it probably isn't worth worrying about.

It is actually, for critical listening 4-5 second is a lot, and the point is that implementing this feature should be very easy and it was requested years ago by many other users.
Some corrections are better to do with the regular EQ and not in Dirac.
