I've been using this platform since it's inception in my own vehicle and I have provided tuning service to those using it over the past couple years.  I also was a beta tester for Dirac Live 3 multi channel.

Most if not all the end users of this product do not utilize the 12ch of output.  I think it would be more beneficial to have an optional firmware/plug-in where it only provided 8ch of output and that processing power utilized for input eq instead.  A 20 band global input PEQ would be ideal but a 10 band / channel input eq would also work.  This capability could be used to de-eq factory signals or to make minor corrections after optimizing with Dirac.  And with the "New" method discovered to get excellent results with Dirac applied to individual drivers - having this input eq would make for much quicker tonality changes.
