When is Mini DSP going to provide a decent volume control for the Car Audio DSPs?
Yes there is a volume control but it has no indication as to the level of the system.
DSPs that are 1/3 the cost have better volume controls with a digital read out as far as volume level.
The Dayton Audio's DSP-408 is a perfect example.
Many installs utilizing the CDSPs have to rely on the CDSP as the main volume control and there is need when you power the system up
that you can verify the systems present volume level before you hit PLAY!
Awesome DSPs but missing a major component that is required for decent operation.
Again DSPs way cheaper provide this needed control. It would not take much to modify the existing volume control to incorporate
a digital numeric readout.
