My sources are: PC, PS4, PS3, and Raspberry Pi. All sources are connected to a Yamaha AVR. The Yamaha is connected to a PC.

source1 -+-> AVR ---> TV

Currently I do room EQ on the PC with Equalizer APO and several MathAudio RoomEQ plugin instances using EQ APO as plumbing,. It's PC only and depends on fiddly software components. I want to move EQ to hardware. Hence the idea to get the nanoAVR HD.

All is good, but the nanoAVR HD only has 2 inputs, while I need 4. Okay, time it get an HDMI switch:

I want to insert a miniDSP nanoAVR DSP into the chain, like this:

source1 -+-> HDMI switch --> nanoAVR HD --> AVR ---> TV
source2 -|
source3 -|
source4 -|

This is unnecessarily complex. It would be great if the nanoAVT had more than 2 inputs. Then I would not need the switch.
4 inputs should be considered "midrange", really, not "high end".
