Not only is changing source the far more frequent activity than changing filter, filters also already have discrete buttons on the remote.

Totally. I regret it nearly every time I try to use the control wheel on the SHD itself. Neither the turning nor the clicking feel high quality, and I hate that input selection isn’t on the first click.

@devteam — as others mention, 16 months ago you responded favorably about a request for being able to rename inputs. Any change to your outlook on this, or any reason to think it might be imminent? Thanks.

They mentioned elsewhere, I can’t remember where exactly but it was somewhere in this forum, that custom input names are totally impossible for them to accomplish and will not be delivered for any existing generation of SHD.
