Dj7675 Topic Author Offline Senior Member Posts: 68 Thank you received: 19	When you change the input by by hitting source, that the display on the front changed to something you name. So instead of lan, it could be named whatever you want. It would make it more user friendly.

This! I just got my SHD Studio set up & was surprised to see that it doesn't seem to have this ability. I can recognize my inputs & room correction presets, but my girlfriend won't have any idea what that stuff means. It would be great to have the ability to rename them. Looks like this post is over a year old now. Could someone at miniDSP provide an update? Is this feature still on your to-do list? Thanks!

Thoroughly agree, and surprised this is still not implemented. Same with Filter names as suggested

I also think it would be wise, and make the device a lot more user friendly, to have source selection mapped to single tap > rotate and filter selection on double tap > rotate on the device’s button.

Not only is changing source the far more frequent activity than changing filter, filters also already have discrete buttons on the remote.
