Hello so I have my dual subs connected to my minidsp and the dsp connected to my AVR subwoofer connection. When I run audyssey room correction my subwoofer trim levels are around -3db with the gain on my subs set to about the 12 o’clock position, I want my sub trim levels to be around -10db but in order for me to get that I have to crank up the gain knob on my subs to almost max. Something is off either with my minidsp or a case of user error because when I take out the minidsp from the chain, I have to set my sub gain knobs back down to about the 11 o’clock position and that gets me to the trim levels I want to be at in my AVR… does anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue? Any help is very much appreciated, thanks 😊

Did you ever find a fix?  I have a 2X4HD that has had really low output since the latest firmware update.  I think I'm done with miniDSP products.

Contact miniDSP support if you haven't already. If nothing else they may be able to help you get back to a previous version of the firmware if this really was the issue, although it seems odd that it would be.
