Hello all,

I'm new to DSPs. I have two towers main speakers B&W 683 S2, one SB2000 SVS subwoofer and an integrated Amp Rotel RA-1570. That's my 2.1 stereo set up.

I'm clueless as to which DSP I need and if my integrate amp will support it. My main goal is to integrate the sub with the speakers. I like the way the tower speakers sound and I would rather not EQ the tower speaker but focus primarily on integrating the sub. The amp has pre out 1 and 2 and main in. Not sure if this is what I need to use with the DSP

Thanks for your help

How are you connecting the sub now?

Right now is connected to the pre out 1 and I use the sub knobs to control its output.

I'm looking in to the DSP to manage the integration better and planning on getting the Mic to run the tests.

Thanks

Oh I didn't see the other set of Pre outs. Is the gain knob on the SVS not all the way up? If so, I think a miniDSP 2x4 connected to Pre Out 1 (both L and R), with one output to the SVS, should work fine.

Oh. I didn't think of that. That's even simpler than I was thinking. That's what I will do. I wil order the regular miniDSP 2x4 and connected using RCA cables.

Thanks for your help.
