Hello,
I try to install the new plug-in releases for PEQ 2.1 and 4way PEQ, but the zip files are not valid. With the earlier version I do not have problems. What can be the issue?
Regards,
Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,

I had the same problem with Windows 7.

And downloaded the following open source software.
7 ZIP

Happy unzipping,
Henjo

Mmmmh, Interesting.. Never thought that 7 Zip was indeed using a different format.
Please try to download again the .zip files. We just encoded them using the Windows encoder.

Thanks for letting us know if that solves your problem and sorry for the trouble.

Still not working the "normal" way, but with 7 ZIP it worked! Thanks Henjo!

Ok, round 3 with encoding from WinZip this time... Should do the trick!

I'm still unable to open the MiniDSP_2waySUB_V4.zip file in Windows. "The archive is corrupted or damaged".

Mind giving a try again? We can't reproduce it here... But I tried to send the file using a different ftp method. Could be the cause...

Still the same. Windows produces an error. With Winrar I can unzip it but the file has no extension. When I rename the unzipped file to the extension .air the Adobe installer gives an error.

Maybe you can supply the file unzipped?

Peter,

This forum process is not very efficient as we can't reproduce the same here... Would you mind to email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so that we can help resolve that problem which you seem to have.
Looking at logs of our users downloading the file, seems like an isolated case though.

Let's have our tech support team solve it with you,

Thanks

FYI, problem was indeed identified for those of you using Internet Explorer (IE) under Windows platform to download the plug-in. Nothing is wrong with the zip file itself, just the server-download process is the issue. We'll be working on trying to find a fix, in the mean time, please use Firefox/Safari/Chrome which will not create any problems.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We'll try to solve the issue as soon as we can.

I had the same problem, even on several computers (all windows/IE), with the new 2way advanced.
A few days ago, the problem was solved.
I think the Tech. dept is aware of the problem and has a solution.
It's a matter of time before all plug-ins work well.

I like the new plugins btw, the 'minidsp.exe' is automatically started (so no manual starting anymore). This is a major improvement !

Guys,

As said above, we're indeed aware and working on a fix. Please follow instructions of using Firefox/Chrome/Safari in the mean time since these browsers do not have the issue of IE corrupting the zip. We're working with our hosting company to solve the problem and trying to find a solution asap.

Good to hear that you're happy with the new plug-in Bert! :-)
