I have a DSP 2x4 V1.5 that works fine with the RCA outputs. However when I stack a miniamp on top of it, the amp only plays in full bypass. The computer says it is connected to the DSP and it looks like I can make adjustments, but the settings don't actually take effect. The bypass switch on the DSP is not activated (the LED is blinking). How can I get the amp to play the processed signal?

Dan

@ Dan,

Which I2S output are you using with the miniAMP? It's most likely that you're using the wrong I2S output on the miniAMP stack (i.e. grabing the wrong I2S pin). That's just a guess though. :-)

You can confirm the I2S from the plug-in datasheet. It's documented there which one you should use for which output.

Hoping this info helps

Yep, that was it, we figured it out and got it working. In my excitement I forgot to go back and update this thread.

The project is a custom boombox using 2 pairs of 3" drivers + 2 tweeters in a metal ammo box. It's turning out to be a success!
