Sorry if I am asking something already answered in other threads.  But I am getting confused.

In about 2019 I bought the miniDSP 2x4HD and installed version 1.14 plug in software & drivers on my Windows 10 laptop.  I also updated the firmware.  I set up the miniDSP 2x4HD for my subwoofers and it worked great.  I haven't changed my system so have not run it since setting up the subwoofers using the version 1.14 software.
I still have that original download.

About a year ago I downloaded the newer 1.21 version of the plug in software but did not install it.  The install file is named "MiniDSP-2x4HD-Flex_v1.21.exe".
I read in the forums that some users were having difficulty getting this new software version to run properly.  So that is another reason I didn't install the newer version.
But I kept that download also.

I just bought a new Windows 11 laptop.  So I would like to install the 2x4HD software on it.
I can't find a download for any plug in software. I could not even find the older software versions.
I did find and download "2x4HD DDRC24 - DC Migration" but it only has the drivers and firmware updater, but no plug in software, and if I read the instructions right it is a update for software already installed.  Or maybe the file "miniDSP_UAC2_v5.57.0_2023-02-23_setup.exe" also installs the software along with the drivers?  So now I am confused.

I am thinking it is probably easiest just to install the original version 1.14.  I know it works good and it was getting the job done for me and I didn't find any bugs or issues with it.  I tried installing it and it stopped saying I have to install Adobe AIR.  So before going any further, I thought I would ask here.

I would welcome your advice before I jump into this.

EDIT --- I have been reading more.  I am finding the instructions and downloads page pretty confusing but I think I missed something important when posting this request for help.

I see lower on the download page there is a download link:
The below links are the actual Device Console installer. Please download the correct release version for your OS from the below hyperlinks.
14/03/2023 - [Latest Version]
Windows 10/11 Build
--- this is the download link
It was not clear to me what this was but I downloaded it and now I see it is the console (formerly called plug in) software with a name that matches the instructions.  Now the instructions make sense because this was the missing file.  It appears the migration download is not needed for a new install?

As I understand it, first I install the console software "MiniDSP Device Console Setup 1.1.6.exe".  After doing that,  I run that installed program, in settings, and update / install the USB audio drivers.  Then I guess plug it in and see if it works?

I will wait for some feedback before proceeding on it.
