Hi I am trying to upgrade (not sure its needed but...) the firmware on my 4x10HD from 2.12 which is what it says on the plug in to 2.13 which is the newer version that I just downloaded. 

I follow instructions on the manual to connect with usb cable, open plug in, then click the green sync button, it connects to the unit. Then from the plug in I try and hit the update firmware and the connection closes. (per the instructions its supposed to go to bootloader mode and then I click the hex file but it doesn't allow me to get there)

I have tried to hit the reset button on the back also. 

Not sure whats going on, and how to get the firmware updated (sure it isn't critical would be nice to have the latest installed though).
