Dear all,
I got a DDRC24 - actually a 2x4 HD which was upgraded by the dealer to the DDRC24 standard.
WIN10 latest system, the system does recognize the unit as input/output "2x4n" BUT the plugin does not connect.
I did a FW upgrade so the plugin is at 1.16 and the FW at 1.17. (what FW was on before when I opened the pack I did not check)
Windows .NET framework is installed, about the C++ redistributables - I think yes - also. Firewall is configured as advised.
When the plugin wants to connect, there is top left for a short while a window open. two lines with the top line "1234" and the bottom line empty.

Any ideas? I looked into older threads but the advices there did not help.

Don’t expect to get a solution on this problem, the minidsp team doesn’t  seems to be able to get a fix for it.
I’ve been using minidsp products for about ten years now and this issue has always been there, it’s always the same procedure of pulling the usb connector and connecting it again and hope it connects and it doesn’t matter if it’s windows or mac
Stupid as I am I bought the latest Flex digi because I thought that after all years all flaws with their products should been sorted out, but it’s maybe worse than ever.

As an update - it is fixed!
- the minidsp was still in 2x4HD mode.

So either the dealer was not able to / did not do the upgrade to DDRC24  OR (what I heard also happens) the minidsp switched back to 2x4HD lateron.

So, minidsp support gave me the 2x4HD plugin: able to connect. After that do the change to DDRC24 again (with the license key from the dealer ) --> bingo!

Lets hope that the minidsp stays in DDRC mode..

regards to all
