Hi folks

I'm considering a SHD Studio.

My current setup is a raspberrypi with an audio card shield attached, and then a simple TOSLINK digital signal to some active speakers. This rpi runs MPD, which is controlled from phones/pads on the local network. This host also streams to other hosts on the network via  Snapcast

The question is this:
- Can I simply swap my raspberrypi for a SHD Studio?

Things I need to make this work:
- SSH access to the SHD system
- Root on the SHD system; the ability to install snapcast
- Access to configure MPD on the SHD via /etc/mpd.conf (or wherever it is)

My assumption is "no", attach the rpi as a source to the SHD.. But I thought I'd ask
Thanks!

Hello again people!

Surely someone knows if you can SSH into this thing? And when one does this, do you have root access?

I'll see if I can raise a support ticket direct to minidsp staff also.. I assumed they would be around on this forum
