Is it possible to control the master volume on a 2x4HD by other means than the supplied volume / channel selector unit ?
I have a Joycon pcb board that converts the cars CAN signal from steering remote to a Human Interface Device (HID) input.
Im using an android device as head unit (Lenovo M8 FHD) but a major issue is getting finer volume steps, beleive me Iv tried everything out there but all result in several volume ranges divisible by 15., which really [email protected]!*!%g sucks.
So I have to find another way to control the volume.
My system takes the USB audio from the tablet straight to a ministreamer then via digi coax to the 2x4HD. This in turn goes to a CDSP6x8, so I actually have two possible master volumes. Currently controlling the CDSP6x8 (2x4HD is set to max unclipped input / output).
Been a while since been on here, Im hoping for some advancments Iv not heard off. Anyone managed alternative / simple volume controlling techniques yet, or can suggest something I havn't thought of? Cheers

ps Can the volume control unit itself be hacked by HID input device? Sure this was a NO years ago!
